Nelson returned after a year out of the ring on the undercard of Crawford’s clash with Israil Madrimov in LA.

He floored his opponent twice in round four and finished him in the fifth to move to 20-0 (16 KOs) as an unbeaten super-middleweight contender.

The second statement was a fashion statement.

Nelson walked to the ring wearing an outfit inspired by the late Tupac Shakur.

This included some very unique boxing trunks which caught the eye of fans on social media.

The trunks were designed to look like a pair of sagging jean shorts with boxers showing underneath.

One fan wrote: “YOO!!!! This guy has Jean shorts on AND is sagging them IN THE RING!!!”
