Otto Wallin bounced back from his defeat to Anthony Joshua with a speedy win on Friday night.
The Swedish heavyweight contender, whose only other loss came at the hands of Tyson Fury, knocked out Onoriode Ehwarieme in just 45 seconds.
Wallin first burst onto the scene when he was selected as Fury’s opponent in 2019.
At this time, he was clearly brought in to lose as it was known that the Gypsy King was lined up for his second fight with Deontay Wilder in early 2020.
However, Wallin nearly ripped up the script.

He gave Fury a horror cut early in the fight and made things very difficult for him throughout the 12 rounds.
In the end, the Gypsy King did enough to get through and win by unanimous decision.
Following this loss, Wallin scored five wins before jumping in with former unified cruiserweight world champion Murat Gassiev in an IBF eliminator.
In a shock result, he beat Gassiev and earned a spot to clash with Joshua in what was effectively an IBF final eliminator.

AJ was too much for him in December though.
A resurgent Joshua took the fight to Wallin and brutalised him in quick fashion.
The fight was stopped in Wallin’s corner after just five rounds.
On Friday night, after a seven-month break, the Swede returned to action.
He took on Nigeria’s Ehwarieme and hit him so hard with a straight left that he knocked him upside down on the canvas.
To his credit, Ehwarieme made it back to his feet, but was clearly on unsteady legs and so the referee stopped the contest just 45 seconds in.
