Jake Paul has made a habit out of making bets with his opponents before fight night.
Ahead of his inaugural encounter against Tyron Woodley in 2021, both men agreed to get a tattoo somewhere on their body reading that they love the winner.
Paul defeated Woodley via unanimous decision and so the former UFC welterweight champion, true to his word, got “I love Jake Paul” tattooed across his middle finger.
Before his clash with Anderson Silva, there was a far more wholesome wager.
In the event of a loss, Paul would rematch Silva in kickboxing while if he won they agreed to come together to create a united fighters’ association to help UFC fighters get better pay and healthcare.
However, Paul left the niceties at the door when he proposed his latest bet with his next opponent, Mike Perry.

After being asked by a member of the assembled media at their final press conference on Thursday whether he would rematch Perry, a 5-0 bare-knuckle boxer, without the gloves, Paul replied: “If I win, you get a W face tatt (Paul’s new fragrance) but if you win I’ll run it back with you in bare-knuckle.”
Perry was quick to turn down the bet. “You are booing me and clapping him, f*** you all,” he said.
“I ain’t getting no more tattoos, I haven’t got tatted in like 10 years, I put that one up with God so f*** your little tattoo bet.”
Both men are set to square off on Saturday night at the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida.
Paul was initially supposed to face Mike Tyson on the same date but their bout was postponed after ‘Iron Mike’ suffered an ulcer flare-up on a flight to Los Angeles.
His representatives claimed Tyson had made a full recovery but further inspections from doctors determined that the former undisputed heavyweight champion was medically unfit to compete in the summer.

As a result, their fight was pushed back to November 15 with Perry stepping in to face Paul on the original July 20 date.
Tensions flared between Paul and Perry at their pre-fight press event as both men traded verbal jabs on stage.

“Everything about you is fake,” said Paul. “You’re a fake fighter too. You suck at fighting, you suck at dressing.
“You’ve got a fake chain and you’ve got fake shoes. I’m going to expose Mike Perry Saturday night.”
Perry fired back: “You’ve got a fake career in boxing and I’m here to beat your ass.”
Taking exception to the comment, Paul replied: “I am boxing, what the f*** are you talking about?”
